Mandatory experience
After acquiring the essential qualification, candidates must have:
- An in-depth understanding of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, the Motor Vehicle Taxation Act, the Central Motor Vehicles Rules and the State Transport Rules;
- Experience in handling legal matters, petitions and appeals in Government departments or Public Sector Undertakings; and
- Experience in compliance with Government service rules, disciplinary proceedings and departmental orders.
Preferred experience
- Experience in the implementation of transport policies, electric vehicle policies, vehicle scrapping policies and related initiatives;
- Experience in the legal scrutiny of contracts with public transport service providers, aggregator companies and private operators;
