About Lawizard
Lawizard (www.lawizard.in) is an independent Indian legal-information website that publishes plain-language case analyses of important court judgments, current legal news, curated law-job and internship notifications, study material for law examinations, and practical legal tools such as calculators. Our goal is simple: to make the law easier to understand for students, young lawyers, litigants and the general public.
Who runs Lawizard
Lawizard is founded and edited by Akinchan Aggarwal, Advocate, a practising lawyer enrolled with the Bar Council. The content is researched and written with a focus on accuracy and readability, drawing on primary sources such as reported judgments, official government notifications and recruitment advertisements. Where we summarise a judgment or a notification, we aim to reflect the source faithfully and provide a link back to it so that readers can verify the information themselves.
What we cover
- Case analysis: Concise, original summaries of significant Supreme Court and High Court judgments, written to explain the facts, the issue and the ratio in accessible language.
- Legal news: Timely updates on important developments in Indian law and the justice system.
- Law jobs & opportunities: Verified notifications for law-officer, legal-advisor, law-researcher and allied recruitment across government bodies, PSUs and courts.
- Exam preparation: Study notes, solved papers and mock tests for law examinations such as UGC-NET, judiciary and entrance tests.
- Legal tools & digests: Free calculators and downloadable monthly digests of important judgments.
Our editorial approach
Every article on Lawizard is prepared for general information and educational purposes. We strive to keep our content original, accurate and up to date, and we correct errors promptly when they are brought to our notice. Lawizard is not a substitute for professional legal advice, and reading our content does not create a lawyer–client relationship. Please read our Disclaimer, Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions for more details.
